From T2

The joy of chocolate with the sweetness of orange. Brew for a subtle and sophisticated tea. How could you go wrong?

Disappointing. Smells great, love the idea, but did not deliver. Quite insipid, even when brewed strong. Might be good as an added extra for something like the T2 Melbourne Breakfast, but on its own I’m not convinced.

Smells divine, but you need to use waaaayyy more than is suggested and steep it for a good 10 minutes to get much flavour. I’ve been told these Cocoa Loco teas are best used blended with other teas, which I find disappointing given the price ($35 for a gift set of this, Mint and plain, each of which was only a tiny package).

To get the most flavour, I’d suggest you at least double the amount suggested (which is one teaspoon) and pack it into your infuser very tightly. Brew for 10 minutes instead of the recommended 5-7, and serve with heated milk.

Despite my criticism, it does satisfy the chocolate craving :)

Needed something desserty and far too much of my T2 stocks are still boxed! Finally let myself crack this open, hoarded just before Christmas. Only a small amount (25g) in a trio with original cocoa loco and the mint version, too, but orange is my jam so I went with my gut.

Brewed up a little pot and had some on its own and some with a dash of vanilla soy, because I am in quite a dessert mood! Very happy with this treat.

Hot tip: doesn’t survive more than one infusion. (Heck, I’ll always try.)
