From Punjana (Thompson's Family Teas)

This luxurious blend produces a rich rounded character, thanks to Assams finest leaves, and a bright fresh finish derived from tea leaves which are picked from the high grown slopes in the prestigious East of Rift Valley region of Kenya.

Punjana Irish Breakfast has recently discovered a fan base in the United States, and, appropriately, the first shipment arrived safely ashore in Boston, where thankfully there was no repetition of the infamous Boston Tea Party in 1773.

This tea always brings me right back home! A truly excellent cup of tea. I always like the comforting feeling of knowing this is a family run business – it somehow makes it taste better haha!

This tea is the very definition of Irish breakfast, in tea bag form. Strong, well-paired with milk and sugar, while capable of giving some get-up-and-go. I don’t find it to be overly bitter, but admittedly, I’ve only had this tea with milk and sugar.
