The Jun Chiyabari estate is located in the high mountains of Nepal’s Dhankuta district. Established in 2000 by brothers Lochan and Bachan Gyawali the estate plays an important role in the emerging new tradition of tea in Nepal.

This exquisite example from their 2019 harvest is syrupy and sweet with chocolate, rose and lychee flavours.

Brewed tea flavour has a thick mouthfeel with sweet molasses muscatel note. Peppery note from the aroma comes through. Note of raisins. Overall flavour is mild and washed-out.
