Description

Black tea is infused with crisp and pungent bergamot citrus to create the very popular “Earl Grey” blend. Earl Grey was introduced to England in the early 1800’s, having been presented by an envoy on his return from China. The recipe went into production and was named after the 2nd Earl Grey. The British East India Company carried the new recipe to America in the mid-1800’s.
