From Octavia Tea

Traditional Tie Guan Yin oolong is enhanced with the fruity, ethereal fragrance of osmanthus flowers using ancient scenting techniques. Found in some of the world’s most expensive perfumes, these oriental flowers have a delicate-yet-opulent aroma with sweet, floral-nectar notes of apricots and lychee, and gentle undertones of violets, suede, musk, and garden rain. Closely tied to the moon in Chinese custom, osmanthus flowers are believed to cleanse the body of toxins.

Absolutely delicious. Sweeter than expected, should not have added sugar as it didn’t need it. Tasted like floral nectar, but not in the way that honeysuckle does, a little more fresh tasting.

Cold Brew Sipdown (457)!

Not as sweet and floral as I remember it tasting last time I tried this one as a hot tea, but still equally smooth with that very crisp finish and almost “rain water” like quality. I would have loved a stronger elderflower/peony flavour but it was still a pleasant enough cup. I’m not overly sad to have finished it off though.
