Description

We had a hard time naming this gorgeously floral tea when a sample of it arrived, unexpected, to our shop in early March. The Snow Picked teas had already been harvested and it was too early for Spring Tea, so we were rather confused as to what this green oolong was all about.

What we had received was an extremely rare Spring/Snow hybrid tea that every few years has the right weather conditions in Mingjian to get picked in early March. A unique ‘Pre-Qingming Festival’ Oolong!

Full of the rich florals of Snow picked teas, this oolong is brimming with the softness of spring making this tea a favorite in the warehouse for Grandpa or Western Style brewing. The strength of the 4 Seasons white/green florals is on full show while the often strong vegetal of the colder weather teas is muted and smooth. If you are a fan of floral oolongs and the 4 Season Cultivar then this great priced tea is not be missed!
