Another strong flavour for a sad face sick with cold day. As far as I can determine, this one is just mint. I know what mint tastes like, so this is probably a safe one to go for when I’m not up to tasting anything really new. As might be expected, the mint flavour from this one is STRONG. It’s remarkably smooth, though, and not too toothpaste like. There’s a gentle sweetness, rather reminiscent of spearmint, and it doesn’t have too much of the coldness in the aftertaste that I often associate with mint teas. In fact, as bagged mint teas go, this is definitely one of the nicer ones I’ve tried. I don’t need plain mint tea in my life too often, but I’d not turn down a cup of this if it was offered. My dad is a mint tea fiend, and loves this one. I don’t often understand why, but today I got a glimpse of the attraction mint can hold. It’s pleasantly refreshing, and it doesn’t need any additions to taste like itself. Another pleasant cup on a blah day.

Aha! After reading up on what Nana Mint is, it turns out it’s just Moroccan Spearmint. Ah well, it’s not my cup of tea. I prefer peppermint, but I wouldn’t turn down a cup of this tea if I was offered. All in all a decent flavour.

This tea I’s in a teabag. I can see the peppermint leaves and this smells lightly like peppermint. I steeped this up. This tastes like a medium peppermint taste. I think this I’s a good tea,but I am bias because I like mint teas in general. Thank you Jillian for this extra with the apple cinnamon tea you sent me.

Appearance: small mixed mint leaves, from different types of mint. The leaves can slip through some of the bigger filters, so I prefer this in the Mighty Leaf sachets. Liquor: pleasant green (with sedimentation if not in a sachet). Smell: I may actually prefer the smell of this one dry. Either way this is nice and minty. Taste: because this is a blend of mint varieties, it doesn’t have the same brightness that a single variety, say peppermint, will. But it’s a nice, solid mint that works really well when you want an herbal. It also works well in blends. 7/10.
