From International House of Tea

Echinacea is know to stimulate the immune system. It is found in all anti-infection blends. It is most effective at the onset of symptoms. Echinacea has an aromatic, earthy flavour. Of the five flavours, it would be characterized as pungent and bitter, and it has a cooling, drying energy.

Re-review of this tea

Guess who’s getting sick right before her anniversary weekend trip? Me, right here. So Vitamin C, healthy foods, lots of sleep, and lot of echinacea (+ mullein) tea. My supervisor jokingly made a “bleh” face when I mentioned echinacea tea, but luckily I actually like this the taste of this tea. It’s herbaceous and slightly drying. Right now I just have a scratchy throat so I’m hoping it won’t progress too far. As long as I’m not throwing up I’m still going!

Glad this tea is $4.50 for 50g. I’ll be chugging it like crazy :\

oh no! feel better asap!

Evol Ving Ness

Try a spicy Korean soup to banish what ails you. Hope it passes quickly.

Indigobloom

Oooh!! I used to do the spicy chicken noodle soup at a local thai place. Really fixed me up when sick. But I think Evol is right, Korean may work better. Or congee with preserved egg. Feel better soon!!

Kristal

Thanks for the tips and well wishes all! I’ve been making homemade soup stocks and drinking this tea mixed with mango Turmeric as well. I also may kick it up with some ginger. Also sinus Tylenol is a life saver since I woke up and my body just ached.

Evol Ving Ness

I hope all your efforts have dispatched it for once and for all.

Kristal

It’s lingering a little, but not too bad!
