From Horaido

Very good Usucha and Koicha with modern style. With fine rich taste and aroma as Usucha, and you can use it as Koicha with modern way (a little light Koicha) too. If you like mild taste of Usucha, we recommend this tea or higher grade.

I love this tea! Though it is hard to get one’s hands on it… The powder whisks up beautifully and has a very full body, especially when compared to other Kyoto Prefecture-based maccha producers. This tea is grown entirely in Kyoto, to my knowledge, and that is very rare. All that said, it is not your standard maccha, with full body and big green umami, and may not appeal to those who have already decided that they like another company’s tea.

One of the most delicious matchas I have ever tasted. I have tasted hundreds of them. I am a japanese tea drinker for many years. If you can find this teat try it you will like it. It had fine quality flavour that was fresh and refined with a frangrant bouquet. Nice!!!

A nice green shade but not intensely bright. Love that it smells both vegetal and a bit like cocoa. Not a very thick liquor but has a nice bite and is mouth-filling.

Used a temperature of 71°C/160°F and whisked for 30 seconds.
