From East Pacific Tea Co.

Since Gold Flake is grown extremely high up in the secluded mountains of ancient Yunnan province of China, there are only limited quantities available of this rich tea each year. Be one of the lucky few ones who gets to try this rare tea.

I would say this is a reasonably rich black tea and quite tasty. I wouldn’t say it completely bold but it’s good, regardless.

Oooo, this does sound good. Is it as nectary as a Golden Needle?

TeaEqualsBliss

Um…maybe…but a different kind of nectary! LOL

Amazing! I do love a good Yunnan – and this certainly fits the bill… to a TEA!

Pleasantly starchy with a sweet potato taste, hints of spice and earth and wood come and go throughout the sip. It finishes with a somewhat dry astringency.

A very fine Yunnan indeed!

ETA: I need to add a huge THANK YOU to TeaEqualsBliss for sending me some of this tea! I really loved this – thank you so much!!!
