From DAVIDsTEA

How it tastes: Rich black tea with a touch of creamy-sweet vanilla and a citrusy hint of bergamot.

Lovers of Earl Grey tea adore this creamy alternative to the original breakfast blend. You’ll recognize the same high-quality black tea, the same citrus burst of bergamot oil, the same beautiful grey-blue petals. However this version adds a touch of vanilla, and the result is an unexpectedly rich, creamy taste experience. Try it on its own or as a satisfying tea latte.

What makes it great:
• A vanilla twist on the classic Earl Grey.
• Amazing infused into desserts. Try adding a shot to your next custard.
• Makes a killer London Fog. Just add hot frothed milk and a bit of agave

Ingredients
Organic black tea*, Natural (cream, vanilla) flavouring, Organic marigolds, Organic bergamot flavouring, Cornflower petals.

Way back when, I used to be able to buy flavoured Parisian teas like Hediard and Fauchon on a regular basis. Then I moved to a country where they are all but unavailable, and slowly my standards for a fine Earl Grey-type tea started to drop (I was drinking Twinings from the grocery store). Then I happened to find Cream of Earl Grey while I was in Montreal and oh, everything changed. Take note, tea suppliers: using high-quality leaves (not just fannings) really does make a difference. I’m not a huge fan of vanilla in general but it really enhances the flavour of the bergamot in this tea. I can’t get enough of it, and it’s what converted me to DAVIDsTEA.

As a London Fog addict, I easily fell in love with this tea. I loved the hint of vanilla that took away much of the bitterness of traditional plain Earl Grey tea. I have yet to try it in steamed milk, but am looking forward to the experience. Great fast alternative to my usual London Fog

This tea is my most favourite afternoon cuppa! As a Brit and a bit of a tea snob, I have to say this tea just hits a home run every time. Flavourful, full bodied, soft and smooth and a real pick me up mid afternoon. Love it!

Once I took a sniff of this tea I knew I had to try it! As a lover of Earl Grey tea the little addition of vanilla into the mix makes it divine! Captain Pickard would be happy! “Earl Grey hot”.

I bought this for my boyfriend (who loves Earl Grey) because it seemed smelled lovely and I was willing to give it a try. I usually don’t like Earl Grey tea, but I love this one! The vanilla adds a smoothness and richness and this tea doesn’t have the astringency that I usually associate with strong black tea. The bergamot is not too strong and there is a slight note of caramel. With a touch of milk and sugar this tea is fantastic.

I’m a big fan of Earl Grey on its own but the hint of vanilla that is added to this blend makes it even more delicious! My favourite way of drinking this is in a tea latte, especially in the winter!
I use this as a Friday afternoon treat to reward myself for getting through the week and to kick start my weekend!

I usually like to drink Chinese teas, maybe that’s why I was so surprised that I liked this one. It’s lovely, very rich, smooth and fragrant.
