From Čajový Dom

Excellent green tea Huang Shan Yun Wu from the famous tea growing area – Yellow Mountains (Huang Shan) in Anhui Province. Yun Wu translates as “Clouds and Fog”. The cold and foggy climate and the soil rich in minerals combine to create tasty teas that have a high content of healthy substances. Chinese tea experts consider it the forerunner of the famous Huang Shan Mao Feng green tea.

The small, tightly twisted buds of Huang Shan Yun Wu tea have a delicate, fresh scent reminiscent of green corn flakes. The infusion of tea has a very light color and a clean, sparkling slightly grassy taste and a vegetative aroma with tones of boiled corn. There is no astringency in this tea due to its rich taste, clear appearance, aroma, clear infusion and pleasantly sweet aftertaste. It can withstand several delicious infusions.

[Spring 2021 harvest]

Despite being 1 year old, this tea offers more or less everthing I want from a green tea! It tastes fresh, juicy, vegetal, has a nice bitter & sour bite and a sweet and spicy finish. Its aroma reminds me thistles, pine nuts and baklava before the session. On the other hand, during the session, the smell is full and vegetal with a hint of citrus fruits. Additionally, the tea induces a warmth felt from within.

Truly a spectacular tea given the price it usually sells for.
