I am enjoying the fragrance of this tea … I could probably just sit here and smell it all evening and not tire of it. It smells warm and cozy, and that’s just what I need on a night like tonight, it’s cold and wet outside, and I feel like I can’t shake that cold feeling from my bones. I’m hoping that this will warm me up.

And it is doing that. This is good … the citrus is bright and juicy and the cinnamon is not overwhelming. The white tea tastes a bit different than I expected, it is more earthy than I’m used to from a white tea. Perhaps it is this combination of flavors that brings out the earthiness.

I like this – it’s good, but it isn’t great. I think I can toy around with it though, and make it great. I think that the spices need a little more dimension.

This tea hasn’t gotten as much love as the other more recent 52teas blends. :(

Yes, I know… it’s kind of “common” in comparison to the other, more unusual blends. I think I am going to have to retry it after my cold/flu/whatever this is has passed, it could be that my taste buds were a bit altered last night although I think I was feeling alright. But to be fair, I’ll give it another try without adding the other spices once my taste buds have returned.

I’m surprised nobody has said anything about this one. It’s not cake, but it’s still good.

It smells really familiar, but I can’t figure out if it’s invoking the chai that I had to smell way too long 2 hours ago, or if it’s something from further in the past. The cinnamon does make it sort of chai-like but easier to drink than a chai.

It’s very nice, and since I have the stupid fake sweeteners in my throat again from my nasal spray, it’s a great sweet and spicy combination along with the orange. It’s a light flavor, since it’s a white tea, so it’s very smooth and I can’t believe I’ve already nearly finished the cup.

That made me lol “its not cake but its still good”
:)

momo

Every other tea in the package was cake related, it was a huge showing of self control that I tried this one first lol

Azzrian

LOL no dount!! I don’t know how you did it!

ashmanra

Lol! Youngest always says, “It’s good, but it isn’t Taco Bell!”

Kittenna

I was just thinking that this tea sounded good… I usually dislike citrus in tea, but after Breakfast Smoothie Honeybush, I’m wondering if Frank is able to do it right…

Backlogging -

Hmmm. Not sure how much I like this one. I think I’m going to have to try it again before I review it.

It smells very orangey, citrusy, cinnamony (like candy cinnamon, though). The taste is pretty much the same, except I’m getting a strange cleaning product note – it’s like orange dusting spray, or something. Gonna try brewing for less time, and maybe leave this one out for a bit to even out the flavors. Rating and real judgement reserved for later tasting.

UPDATE: I’ve left this one out for about a day, so I’m hoping to try this again and do a proper review.

Thanks Moraiwe! This is delicious! It reminds me of red hot candies. It’s subtle though. It’s sweet and cinnamony. But not hot cinnamony. I reeeaaaalllyyyy like this one.
