Description

Tea of the Week for February 20, 2023!

For this week’s blend, I start with organic green rooibos & added lots of raspberries & limes. Simple – but absolutely delightful! Bright notes of lime & raspberry – tart & a little bit sweet – with the crisp, light notes from the green rooibos. It’s naturally caffeine-free & leaves the palate feeling clean & refreshed! It’s also organic, vegan, gluten-free, allergen-free & all natural!

organic ingredients: green rooibos, raspberries, limes & natural flavors

more about this tea: while this tea definitely has a bit more ‘summer appeal’ (or even spring appeal) than some of the other teas that I’ve been creating lately, I wanted something light & refreshing – this combo filled that bill for me. Simple yet true to fruit flavors – it’s quite nice!

It’s absolutely one that you’ll want to have on hand when you cold brew because it makes a fantastic iced tea. Super refreshing, light, crisp, sweet-tart – it’s so good!

to brew: shake the pouch to make sure the little bits of raspberry & lime are well incorporated. Use 3 ½ grams to 12 oz of very hot water (190° F) & steep for 10 minutes.

I know that 10 minutes seems like an awfully long time, but, it’s worth the wait. Rooibos has very few tannins so your tea will not become bitter with the long steep time, it will just become more flavorful.

serving suggestion: As I mentioned above, this tea will be amazing cold-brewed overnight. The flavors are so light & refreshing! It doesn’t require sweetening – but if you prefer a sweeter drink, a little bit of sugar will enhance the overall flavors.
