This is the perfect green tea for me. Lots of that wonderful, buttered-vegetable flavor, but absolutely no seaweed notes (hate that). It just feels NOURISHING to drink this wonderful brew!

I love this tea so much— it’s the tea that introduced me to the Harney and Sons brand. You have to really love cinnamon (I do!) to enjoy this tea… the flavor is both hot and sweet, almost like cinnamon Red Hot candies are melted into a good black tea. It’s especially good in the fall and winter.

I’m sort of new to teas. At least anything beyond Lipton and Celestial Seasonings. I ordered a sample of this one based on the great reviews. After finishing my sample, I hate to say that I don’t think I’d re-purchase this. It took me a few cups to pinpoint what I don’t like about it— it’s the smoky notes. I don’t think I like that flavor in teas. I like strong English Breakfast teas and Irish Breakfast teas, and I was crazy about Harney’s East Frisian blend. But sadly, I’ll have to pass on the Queen.

This is a delicious black tea. Very strong and hearty, but not bitter at all. It’s kind of “roasty” in a coffee-like way, which probably explains why this coffee lover enjoys it so much. I’m sure it would be great with cream and sugar, but I enjoy it without any additions. I bought a sample with a Harney order because the description of dreary East Frisia and their tea culture sounded so intriguing. This is now one of my favorite black teas, and I ended up purchasing a tin of it after my sample was gone.
