drank CLASSIC 1907 by Ringtons
13 tasting notes

This tea reminds me of the tea i used to drink at my aunts many many years ago when I was quite young. Its exactly how it’s described by the blenders Ringtons – strong, dark and malty. I drink it without milk or sugar – as I do with all teas. One spoon full of tea to a pot is quite enough for drinking it “neat”. It has a deliciously long after taste. Hard to obtain sadly – mail order only unless you live in the North of England where they actually deliver it to your door.

Just sipping a cupful of the aforementioned Classic 1907 by Ringtons, on the recommendation of Sir Robert Heaven, above. Annoyingly I have to agree that it is indeed a splendid cup of tea. Even without the evocative childhood memories that he describes, it is still an excellent choice being full in flavour with a pleasantly lingering concomitant wallop.
