This tea is simply delicious. Right now I’m drinking it iced.
When I prepare it for iced tea, I put 8 teaspoons into my tea maker with 32 oz of water at 200℉. I fill a 64oz pitcher with ice and some sugar (I wanted something really sweet, so there’s 8 table spoons…). I steep the tea for about 3 minutes.
After all of the ice melts, I pour myself a glass, and add around 2 table spoons of milk.
This time, it was delicious and awesome.
I know that some people have said there’s almost no oolong in it. I’ve noticed that the oolong and spices tend to separate in the container. When buying, sometimes you can ask them to stir it prior to filling your container, and also be sure to stir it from time to time to keep it mixed.
I don’t think the cinnamon flavor is too strong. It might be the lack of diversity of spices. If you compare it to other chai blends, it is lacking in the multiple blends of spice area.
I do know that one of my friends doesn’t like it when I prepare this tea alone for that reason. They like it with some Cha Yen Thai mixed in with it.
