Oh my, do I ever love shopping at Murchie’s. They have a large savoury and dessert deli in half the building; everything there is absolutely delicious and made fresh. The line is always extremely long, but this is because they are one of the best delis in town.

I really appreciate the $4 samplers of 10 teabags for those of us who like to try different teas. They also have lots of teapots/cups and a selection of bulk loose leaf which are tasty.

Stopped in while visiting Victoria. It’s definitely high quality tea—yumm! They’re smooth, and worth savoring. We had a bite to eat there, and that was delicious as well. They’re set up for bulk-buyers, and tourists like us. We bought a handful of 10ct boxes to try a few different flavors, and are oh-so-happy we can shop online now that we’ve fallen in love!

Went here while on a 3 day visit to Victoria. Went for breakfast the first day, and went back 3 times! Everything in the case does taste as good as it looks. The scones are just wonderful. Tea served on a silver tray-how nice. I loved the food and atmosphere. Fun to sit and drink my tea and look out the window. I wish I could go for a bite there right now!

Lots of tea selection of mostly mainstream varieties. I only really care for a few blends but the baking is tasty and well priced for an event or meeting.

Each time I’ve visited Murchies I’ve been impressed with the quality and rarity of the blends. The service is impeccable and friendly. The beauty of the tea accessories and quality of the equipment is top notch as well. I always leave with quite a few rarities either from the shop itself or the cafe. The baked goods and latte’s make the experience ever so memorable. It’s one of the few places I can find French macaroons and they are always a hit at the group get-togethers. For those who love the classics this place is just right.

I admit I tend to get coffee when I am at Murchies, along with some yummy baked goods, which they excel at. You could probably put together a cheap, but yummy tea service, far cheaper than the Empress, though the Empress is an experience for tea. I have only been in the back section where it is more store than cafe, but it has been a while, but I seem to recall a decent selection of the basics. It is a very English style place if memory serves me. I think I ought to go in and check the back again soon.

I have only been in this shop once or twice and each time I find the staff knowledgable and the place light and airy. Though the first time I found myself over whelmed. I find they offer a lot of black teas and chai, but each time I arrive I usually am pressed for time and rush through the process of selecting a tea.

I will mention this shop is the best shop to go to in the Victoria area if you need a new tea ball, kettle, travel mug, ect. Their prices are competative, and far more reasonable that what you will pay else where.
