Sad that this place closed. They had delicious food and some great teas. I remember enjoying some Japanese greens there, flavored teas, herbals, and lapsang souchong.

Modern tea room with ample seating and an enormous tea selection (over 100 kinds). They have everything from single origin to blended, scented teas so there’s something for everyone. I was a little sad when they stopped doing the afternoon tea with sandwiches and such, but they do have a decent selection of treats.

Finally got to go here because I visiting a friend who wanted moral support for a check up in the clinic nearby. Unfortunately, this was also the day they were having troubles with their supplier so the hi-tea trios were all out. I got a pot of Morning Rain, and we liked it. Scone was a bit hard and dry, but tasted good. Wasn’t a big fan of the matcha green tea latte— didn’t really taste like anything, and wanted more of the bitter vegetal taste that’s in good matcha.

Location was pretty okay, feels like a good place to hang out in. It doesn’t have the feel of people judging you because you don’t know what you want. I’ll probably give it another chance when I’m in the area again— hopefully they’ll have that hi-tea trio in stock this time!

I love this place. Great tea selection, and a good food menu to go with it. It’s a bit out of the way for me, but if I’m in the area I will make sure to drop in for a cuppa.

This tea shop has by far the largest and most complete selection of teas in the city. Added bonus, no pesticides! All of their hundred + teas are organic, and you can tell that they have been grown and picked with the intention of savoring the plant and reaping all its benefits without altering it. When you go in there, you will see a very eccentric shop with lots of character.

They tend to be packed from when they open to right before they close at 11 pm (which is another reason I love this place, late night tea cravings are fulfilled here daily). If you wait a couple minutes in the middle of the shop, a table will open up pretty quickly.

To sum it up, this place is a must try. Even if you have to park a half a mile away, it’s worth it. Full service is pricey, so if you are hungry I would suggest getting a cup of their homemade soup de jour and a cookie or squash bread. But whether you’re hungry or not, just go. Great place to get cool tea gadgets, also.

The tea here is pricy, but impeccable and the design is gorgeous. This place is not that comfortable to be in, but I love the highly descriptive tea menu that truly helps you find the right tea for any day or mood.

Although I don’t like the hipster atmosphere, I love their teas. Their green “orange crush” really tastes like orange crush. The chili chai is spicy to the lips and tasty. Some of the best tea I’ve had in Seattle

Remedy Teas is a really cool tea room on Capital Hill. With its hip, modern interior, free wi-fi, and selection of organic tea, it epitomizes Seattle. And if those amenities weren’t enough, they have some really excellent teas. Their HUGE selection of loose leaf teas contains everything for the standard—Sencha, Iron Goddess of Mercy—to more adventuresome and non-traditional teas like Silk and Citrus or Blue Hawaii.

Its prices on loose tea are inline with other tea shops and prices for a cup or pot and pastries are competitive with other cafes in Seattle.
