Just…can’t get enough. It’s at the point now where I can anticipate the taste from just imagining the smell, which… is just so smooth. Perfect for the changing seasons (btw…when IS it going to get cold?).

This tea just keeps inching itself toward the happy, green faced man licking his lips. I think I settled on 5 1/2 minutes as my ideal steep time with a temp right around 185 degrees.

…global warming…is trying to kill the hot tea industry. I guess there’s always iced tea

Jillian

Damn you global warming! shakes fist

You want some of our cold rain? I’d be more than happy to some of it [all of it] your way. Or exchange it for snow.

Speaking of global warming, did anyone else see the Sun Tea episode of 30 Rock? Hot damn I love that show.

Mike

@takgoti…yeah saw that :) Good episode, great show!

Brews a nice redish-pink. Not too sweet, flowery with a fairly strong strawberry finish.

I think this is my first Oolong :)

Great golden color. Smell is a little too earthy for my tastes. But, the taste! Nice, very flowery. Reminds me of a green tea, but not as strong. Just kept sipping, before I knew it had gone through two large cups. Off to a good start for me, as far as Oolongs go. This was actually the “cheapest of the nice Oolongs” that McNulty’s had, as the gentleman there described to me. Curious to try some others…for now, back to sipping!

Steeped longer and a bit hotter, also had a second steeping this time. Really growing on me.

Great aroma. But- not picking up much of the taste promised by that aroma… Chalking it up to understeeped…have to give this another shot.

Smells very strong and similar to the Snapple drink of the same name, tastes much less artificial and sweet (a good thing, in my opinion). Very naturally fruity tisane to have in the collection when I want to brew something sweet.

There’s no tea is at the base of this, I assume? I have a white tea with the same combination which I was sceptic about because I thought the fruit might overpower the tea, but it turned out to be quite nice although it’s faded a bit since. I could imagine it would be a nice combination in a black tea too.

Mike

Yeah, no tea, correct…primarily dried fruit. It’s definitely not the usual “full tea” experience, but still a fun drink when you’re looking for something sweet.

Angrboda

It would probably be nice on ice

Prepared with milk and sugar, for a change. Great, deep brown color. Enjoyed the full taste, caramel isn’t overwhelming or too sweet. A fun, flavored tea that doesn’t lose the black tea taste… just what a like!

Where’d you get this?

Mike

McNulty’s store in NYC. Jack gave me the tip. Really awesome store with a great atmosphere… recommend to anyone in/visiting NYC!
