2014 Bulang Beauty Spring Raw 357g
Our 2014 Bulang Beauty is made even more beautiful by the addition of 10% topshelf ancient tree kucha from the Myanmar border, 10% 2012 Lao Ban Zhang and 2013 Lao Man E maocha. The older leaves give the soup a noticeably darker color, and the blend creates complexity and balance, with an interesting interplay between bitter and sweet. The aroma is all brown sugar & barn straw. The flavor is classic bulang but with more honey, which makes it less bitter than 2013’s Bulang Beauty. The mouthfeel is very thick and smooth, with a fast huigan that coats the throat with sweetness. This tea has chaqi in spades, the energy rises from the diaphragm, and balls in the chest. Needless to say we are very proud of this creation – Belle calls it “perfect”.
