A blend of select Ceylon teas. An earthy/ tobaccoey scent, with some corn silk and floral thrown in. A light citrussy tea, with some earth notes to ground it. Very pleasant

Ah, a good Yunnan, smelling of old wood and spice, with a fire/toast/grill edge to it. Peppery, but smooth.

This is a lovely green tea that is rich and pungent, but with a sweet floral aroma. This is on top of the richness and makes a lovely cuppa

I thought this smelled rich and full, like chocolate jumble cookies. There was a nice balance to it, even though it had a bit of Celestial Seasonings Roastaroama to it

That was then, this is now. Wonderful woodsy, spicy smell. Very, very smooth, full tea. Some spice, some wood, some fine tobacco. Chocolate hint, but not in the cup. If it weren’t for the nuances, this would just slip down almost without swallowing. Very tasty and yes, good with chocolate – Lindt’s Dark with Sea Salt.

I think this year’s blend must be better than last year’s because the ol’ clove hater could hardly taste it here, just enough. I found it to be sweet, pumpkinny, spicy and altogether pleasant, especially with cream and a little sugar. I brewed it for 4 minutes, perhaps that helped.

Holy Smokes, this will knock your slippers off. Billed as a breakfast tea, they weren’t kidding. I only brewed if for 3.5 minutes, instead of the recommemded 5 and it was super strong. One reviewer said it needed 7 to taste right. Definately a British style tea. In your face, no nuances. Good for those mornings when your brain is in a London fog.
