I had a scratchy throat last week and this tea was nice and soothing. I’m not generally a fan of licorice but it works here.

This is my favourite before bed/“oh my goodness there are so many things to do I’m so stressed” tea. It’s very calming and reminds me of the echinacea tea my dad and I always drank when I was younger. Plus it’s okay if you make it and then forget about it for a few minutes- it doesn’t taste offensive just because it’s been cooled.

I like it but not as much as other teas I’ve purchased from here in the past. My mom loves it though so I gave her the tin to keep for now and I’ll see if I warm up to it later.

I was at the store and thought the name was interesting so I asked to smell it and ended up buying a 25g pouch. When I came home and made this tea (and later the other one I had bought, organic Stormy Night) I fell in love! My only regret was that I had bought 25g instead of going for the tin. I ended up giving the tin of SN to my mom and buying myself a tin of this when I ran low. This has been my go-to black tea since just after Christmas.

As a bonus, it shimmers. Shiny.
