Always an excellent tea with wonderful chocolate notes, but a rich, smooth black tea taste.

The lemongrass really stands out in this tea. Not too much, but subtle enough, while a lighter green taste floats around in the cup. I really enjoy drinking this, especially at night. So warm and calming.

Drinking it some more. Have plans on finishing this up during the next several months for a variety of reasons including: it’s about 2-3 years old at this point. Kept very well (sealed, dark, etc.) but that doesn’t mean it won’t go bad fast. Husband seems to enjoy it as well. I do like it steeped a bit longer, and stronger. Had the part that I iced the other day. It was very fascinating. Too cold to really detect any flavor, and yet, felt like a really healthy drink, almost more so than water! Really enjoy this tea.

On first steeping, it was really light and there didn’t seem to be much discernible flavor. There was some left in the pot, so I iced that, left the tea leaves out over night and rebrewed it this morning, let it steep for longer. Mmm, good strong cup of tea with a smooth flavor and that beautiful gold color I like to see in my oolongs. Very good tea for morning or night.

There was a hint of pineapple before the entire drink went straight to tasting like just a plain ol’ rooibos. Unimpressed.

I have had similar experience with pineapple. It sounds good in theory but it just doesn’t come through very well in the brew.

The leaves are red rooibos leaves with very visible pieces of chocolate. I’m saying that I could’ve picked out the chocolate pieces and eaten them. The bag mentions there’s also supposed to be sour cherry, but what I saw was just rooibos and chocolate. I brewed according to bag directions (5min, boiling water, etc.) and then poured. The chocolate cherry smell rose from the cup into a wonderful, comforting smell, with just a hint of rooibos. On first taste, I got the subtle hint of sour cherry on my tongue that faded into chocolate. A delicious blend of sour cherry, chocolate and rooibos. Definitely ordering again once I’m out. So in love with this tea!

Still not tasting as good as the one from Teavana. First time I tried this, there was no flavor, the second time tasted like plastic, and now this latest brew it tasted like cigarettes (no one in my house smokes or anything). I was really hoping this would be good, but it just isn’t. I’ll make my way through the sample and then continue buying from Teavana.

This last bag had been with me for years and the taste was still pretty good. I think this is about the highest quality bagged Jasmine tea one can get. I really enjoyed it and in the future, I will definitely get myself a box.

drank Rooibos Mango by Adagio Teas

I’ve had this tea for a while now, so I’m unsure how fresh it is. Not much of a mango taste to it, just seems like general rooibos to me.

drank Peach Oolong by Adagio Teas

The leaves smelled great. After brewing, I like how the tea had a light flavor. I bet more leaves would have made a stronger tea, but this was just very good. I’m now interested in it as an iced tea. Don’t usually go for flavored teas, but willing to add this to a shopping list when I can stop buying every tea known to man.

Update this morning: Had a little bit leftover that I could ice. Quite tasty, though it needed to warm up just a tad to really experience the tea notes. Found that drinking it fast also exploded peach flavor. Really good.
