Here’s Hoping Tea box

Korean Barley Tea

I’ve been wanting to try a Barley tea so here I go! Roasty and warming- I like it but it is reminiscent of coffee, so I may not be having it often.

Side note: I just got back from San Francisco so I’ll be having a couple great tax to add to this box.

Oh, how was your trip? Did you enjoy SF? I definitely want to hear about your tea adventures there!

I really liked San Francisco! It was only part of my trip, so I was only there for a day and a half, but I managed to get to 3 tea places: Samovar, Crown and Crumpet, and Red Blossom. Red Blossom was the best. I got to talk with the manager about Tea Drunk. I walked into a few other tea shops in China Town, but none were as good as Red Blossom.

And thanks so much for your suggestions! They really helped me out!

Sounds wonderful! I so wish I’d known about Red Blossom when I lived in CA, but I was really only casually interested in tea at that point in my life… sigh.

I run, I sing, I drink tea. That’s the best description I have of me.

I’ve always enjoyed tea, but have just started trying out a lot more loose teas and varied brands. I’m really excited about a site like steepster so I can read about what people think about different teas.

Oh and I really hate Lipton tea. There’s something just awful about it and I can’t understand why nearly every local diner only has Lipton.

Also I’m on the search for a full-bodied, fruity blackberry tea. So if you have any suggestions feel free to throw them my way! :-)
