Not bad, quite different from another red robe tea I tried which I didn’t really enjoy (thepuritea). Strong roasted hay flavor, very autumnal. I generally don’t like smokey/roasted teas but this one would be ok in certain moods. If you like such flavors this one is hard to beat.

Perhaps a nice everyday puer, but wasn’t as there flavor-wise as some of other Mandala’s offerings imo

Omgish loving this sample :) amazing aftertaste, creamy and makes me think of buttered green veggies (where the veggies are there to emphasize the butter, not the other way round). Quite different from my other much loved puers!

Hot damn. Smells amazing, tastes amazing. Up there with American Tea Room milk oolong, maybe even preferred…

It’s alright. It smells amaaaazing in the package. The creaminess/milkiness is not very strong as compared to other milk oolongs I’ve tried. It’s also almost completely gone by 2nd/3rd steep (gongfu style even). Then again, also way cheaper than the good stuff :P

edit: I find this pretty good for making butter tea with, instead of gongfu (which goes generic vegetal real fast)

Beautiful when not overbrewed. Tasted more like almond skins to me than almond milk.
