I’ve had this tea for a few weeks now and have had 4-5 cups. Upon reviewing the ingredient list today, I was surprised to see/recall that there is lemon peel and that it’s the 2nd ingredient. I get little-to-no hit of lemon in this tea. Now that I know it’s supposed to be a flavor note, I will try adding a slice of lemon next time to enhance it a bit. It’s much heavier on the cloves and some sort of artificial flavor that I can’t quite put my finger on but that seems to give it a “creamy” taste.
I don’t love this tea but I have found myself instinctively reaching for it when I want a simple black tea to guzzle down in the morning to get my energy up before I reach for one of my better herbals or greens. Won’t buy again but probably won’t have trouble getting through my 4 oz in a reasonable amount of time.
