drank Lemon Ginger by Paromi

Oh man, I love this. I haven’t had many oolong teas, but this was fantastic – the only tea I drank from my first bag until the jar was empty.

This is my favorite bagged black tea, and one I always make sure to have in my cupboard. It isn’t the absolute best Assam, but it’s quick and lovely with or without sugar.

Super easy to find – it’s carried at most grocery stores – and a decent citrus taste; I like it plain or with a bit of sugar. The “natural flavors” entry on the ingredients list does give me pause, though.

Easy to find, easy to brew. An all-around “good enough” tea.

drank Gyokuro Imperial by Teavana

This is one of my go-to green teas. I’m often disappointed by Teavana, and for their price they don’t always deliver quality, but I make an exception for their Gyokuro Imperial. It’s strong, but the vegetal taste isn’t too overpowering or bitter.

One of my favorite teas, although I agree that it’s sometimes a little weak; I’m looking forward to trying either the loose version or two bags in one cup. This one’s delicious by itself or with a bit of cream and sugar.
