I bought a sachet of this tea on my trip to Seattle. To be fair, I didn’t brew this according to the instructions at all. But when you’re stuck away from home with only an automatic coffee dispenser to provide hot water, you do your best to make due.
Anyway, first of all, I would strongly recommend using more water than I did. 8 ounces is definitely not enough for the size of the tea sachet they sell. I also oversteeped this (that’s what I get for not setting a timer! ), so it turned out a little more bitter than I would’ve liked. Regardless, it has a soft honey/caramel smell after it’s been steeped, and a slight earthy flavor.
Given the chance, I’d love to try this again! But I’ve got an entire cabinet of teas to get through before I even start thinking about buying more!

Preparation
I picked up a sachet of this tea when I visited Seattle, because they were sold out of the loose leaf. The dry leaves really do smell almost exactly like sour patch candy! Once brewed, the tangy/sour notes become more subtle and there’s a sweet aftertaste. Definitely a great tea to try, and one I wish I’d bought more of!
