drank Chaman Chai by Inti Zen

Received several Inti Zen teas as a gift, this is the first I’ve tried from this Argentinian company. It’s described as a spiced assam. The assam tea comes through beautifully, the spices are just hints that make the tea that much richer. This isn’t a tea that I’ll be searching out to get lots more of, but it’s a very enjoyable cuppa and I look forward to trying other teas from this brand.

That sounds like a chai that I would like. A sort of… beginner’s chai. Chai with training wheels. :)

LOL …. hadn’t thought of it that way, but that may just be a perfect description!

First you taste the banana, then the chocolate with a hint of vanilla in there….and finally you realise that there’s a cherry on top you didn’t notice at first. The black tea comes through and keeps it from being overly sweet. An enjoyable cuppa. Not for every day, but a nice treat once in a while.

drank Vanilla Chai by London Tea Company

I was so disappointed with this tea! I adore vanilla chai, but this was simply anemic – very weak despite me trying longer and longer steepings. I could barely taste the vanilla, and couldn’t taste the spices very well at all – and considering which spices are supposed to be there I was very surprised. I received this as a gift, now I’m wondering if it’s simply an old supply that has lost much of its flavour? Or is this the way it’s supposed to be? I’m not sure how much more I’ll try – maybe mix it with something else.

Opened the package and it smelled wonderful! The spices (and cinnamon) are just right, not overpowering. Slightly sweetened, with milk, this is a treat for a rainy day.

Does this one actually taste like pumpkin pie?!?! I still haven’t found one yet despite the claims from the companies.

Same question as Lena! :D

lol…it actually does….or maybe it’s been such a long time since I’ve had real pumpkin pie. Haven’t tried any of the other companies’ attempts.

Very smooth tea, I love the honeybush and the vanilla (my personal weakness) comes through just right. A chakra 3 boost was necessary – I needed a cup of this in my hand for strength and power indeed, in order to help the kid do her math homework, never an easy task for either of us. All went well!

Mellow, smooth and creamy as advertised! I’m going to have to try this one iced as well.

I wanted a good, strong, basic tea this morning with no frills. This is it.

I like their peach and blueberry, decided to try the raspberry. It’s made with real pulp and juice, and the taste comes through beautifully. I sweetened it very lightly with stevia and added milk for a special dessert tea.

Received this as a gift. I have been spoiled! Smells heavenly, and the taste is just right. I made it strong (1.5 tsp) and it’s wonderful. With the light sweetness of the peach it’s a liquid dessert.
