The Queen of Hearts, she made some Tarts. Fitting song to have stuck in my head while I sip away on this tart tea. It is distracting to have a song stuck in your head while sipping a tea and doing a marathon of marking.
Dried the leaf has mixed aroma of sweet and tangy which made my mouth water as lingering scents of fruit danced in between the the sweet and tangy notes. It brews a delightful blood red colour and the taste doesn’t disappoint with its tart which is what I was expecting!
Now if only the Strawberry Rhubarb tea took a note from the Queen of Tarts!
