151 Tasting Notes
Hey everyone!
I’m relatively new to tea and have yet to taste very many decafs but I still liked this one reasonably well.
When you first open the packet, what hits you immediately is the heavy scent of bergamot and you just know the flavour is really going to stand out. You can’t really smell tea too much though, but since it’s a decaf, that might be somewhat standard?
When brewed, the bergamot is most definetely rich and high-quality like the description says. But the tea taste isn’t very present at all. It does feel a little thin in the mouth, like bergamot-flavoured water.
So I add milk and for once, some sugar as well and it basically becomes a sweet bergamot milk, which for me isn’t so bad as it still becomes a comforting drink I can enjoy at night.
If anyone has suggestions for great decafs available in Australia, or which ship to Aus at a non-exorbitant price, I would be ever so happy to hear your suggestions.

This does taste as good as it smells. And how it smells is really quite lovely.
As been mentioned by other reviewers, it lacks body but I find adding milk does help in bringing out the tea base. Nothing that stands out too much about this one, but it is definetely a worthwhile blend to try if you ever walk past a Tea Centre

Not too happy with this one. The tea base is quite bland and the peach flavour is there but hardly. It just was not a delicious drink. Also, some green teas tend to give me a headache and this was one of them.

Gorgeous tea. The caramel and vanilla blend to taste more like honey than cream, so it does become quite a sweet beverage. A little too sweet if I drink too much of it straight, so when that happens, I just add a dash of milk and finish off the whole pot. I’m loving the strength of the tea base as well. Go and enjoy it guys!

Smells and tastes calming…but that might be a placebo thing going on. Not much of a strong flavour to it at all – I mainly notice cinnamon. The orange peel would have provided more body but it doesn’t come across very much. I like how the fennel adds a nice bit of sweetness to the mix but I don’t think I would repurchase this as there are tastier herbals around. Still, it’s a nice caffeine-free option for a hot and healthy drink at night

I agree with the other reviewer that this has a definite note of candied cherry. In fact, I personally taste about 3.5 parts candied cherry to 1 part toffee. It is a very sweet tea on its own and nicely balanced with some milk but I wouldn’t add sugar. Tea base could have more structure, but it tastes exactly as it smells which is actually somewhat impressive for a flavoured tea. Dessert fans, this is for you!

Bought a 95c two-cup taster from the store. Smells wonderfully uplifting but when brewed, there isn’t too much to write home about. It lacks depth/complexity and I can’t help but be reminded of dishwashing liquid whenever I take a sip. Will finish my cup though. Nice if you like a light citrus green.

Simple decaf black tea with sweet vanilla. Impressed at the intensity of the vanilla and tastes like the authentic bean. It is quite sweet; a total dessert tea and I wouldn’t add sugar at all. I like the tiniest bit of milk with mine to offset the sweetness a little
Edit: some steeps have been very sweet and some have been a little bitter. I think it depends on the amount of vanilla pieces you get in each teaspoon. But generally, it tends to go a bit bitter if brewed a little too long or left by itself for a while. Easily fixed with milk/sugar though
