Sorry to hear you aren’t feeling well. At least, it’s the weekend!
I don’t know either if mates can be resteeped, as I only did a pure one once. I have resteeped a mate/rooibos blend successfully, though.

Thanks so much! I will be fine …. just need to slow down some. I did re-steep it – it was okay – nothing like the first brew – I don’t think it is like typical re-steeping though where you get different flavors – this one was the same just really weak. I googled it – some say you can – some say you can’t lol go figure!
Some notes: Trix Cereal after taste and smell when steeped.
lovely “fusion” of flavors.
Very smooth and easy to drink the lime is strong but not overwhelming.
My first mate
First aroma of dry leaf was more of pistachio, while the first taste of the steeped leaf was more of lime which is more subdued by the nut than flavored by it.
I would have enjoyed a bit more of a pistachio flavor myself but I absolutely love pistachios!
D’oh sorry you are feeling cruddy. On a plus note we got your package today! Very generous samples,thank you. Now I’m scouring your tasting notes so I can decide what else to put into a box to send out to you tomorrow. We brewed the Vanilla mint up and it’s excellent. Thanks again!

LOL well I will be a very happy camper! :) Thank you! Yeah I said I was going to the sofa – but I came back. Its like ummm i DO have a laptop I COULD take the computer with me. I think I was trying to tell myself I would sleep but that isn’t happening!
Hehe well you did just drink some mate… In that box there is a mate blend I had success with re-steeping. I steep first time at 185-190 ish for 3 minutes. The second steep I kick it up to about 205 and 4 minutes. That is as far as I’ve experimented.

Yeah and I like tea a little strong to begin with so that is good advice!
