An immediate, surprising note of jasmine in the aroma.

Almost clear liquor.

Light, smooth, crisp white tea flavor. Not particularly strong at a 3 minute steep, so I’ll probably try brewing again for longer in the future.

ETA: a 5 minute brew is equally mild, but the jasmine aroma is not as pronounced. The brew becomes slightly earthier as well

Not a terrible taste, but not the bright, juicy tangerine flavor I was looking for. This is my second tangerine tea from TeaVivre, and I’ve learned that this more muted, subtle citrus flavor is what to expect from their teas. It’s more easily described as earthy than truly citrus.

It’s not bad, it just isn’t what I’d like from a citrus tea.

A wonderful, pure berry flavored tea. The various berries make this tea slightly sweet on its own. Makes excellent iced tea and is pleasant sipping warm as well.

I’ve had a very hit and miss experience with Pu-erh Teas, so I’m always hesitant when I try a new one.

This tea is quite good. The smell is heavily musky, which I don’t much care for, but the flavor is mild, smooth, earthy, and a bit woodsy. It reminds me of a downed tree in the woods.

It probably wouldn’t be my first choice out and about, but as a pu-erh, it definitely tops my lists.

If you liked jolly ranchers as a kid, you may like this. It tastes and smells almost exactly like a cherry jolly rancher. It’s a punch to the nose and the taste buds that completely threw me off my game.

If anyone wants it, get in touch, I’d be happy to have it out of my house.

I was a little surprised by this tea. A lot of strawberry flavored teas are just that, flavored. And that makes them overwhelming, cloying, and entirely too much like drinking an air freshner for me.

This tea, however, is the real flavor. It tastes like a cup of green tea that you’ve mashed fully ripe strawberries into.

That said, fruit teas are still not 100% my jam (no pun intended). I’d drink it, but it won’t be a “must have” for me.

I love a good, fresh lemon flavor, so a nice lemon tea sounded right up my alley.

Unfortunately, the flavor is more lemon pith than lemon rind, and the drying process seems to have given it an earthy flavor that I found unpleasant. The sweetness mentioned did not show up in my cup, and I don’t add sugar (I’m not sure it would have made it better, anyway)

The tea is overwhelmed by the lemon pith flavor, leaving me with what I consider an undrinkable cup.

The aroma in the package is almost overwhelmingly strong, so I was a little afraid the tea would be as well.

Thankfully, that isn’t the case. The scent remains fairly strong, but the flavor is just right: ripe peach with a hint of jasmine in a mild green tea base.

My only dislike is that you really only get one good brew out of it: if you try to resteep, you lose almost all of the jasmine and most of the peach.

Smooth, very slightly astringent, and a rich, malted flavor profile. Rather mild, for a black tea, and dark golden brown in the mug.
