Having tried most of DavidsTeas already, and making a noble effort to try a new one everyday, AND feeling a bit under the weather, this was today’s new tea to try. I hate the smell of the leaves, and considered it utterly un-drinkable for months. But I’m proud to say that I’ve finally taken the leap and tried this tea. And I quite like it. I can’t taste anything but the ginger, but its sharp bite is great. It feels a little bit scratchy on my throat, but it is probably just because I generally don’t drink such ginger-y beverages on a normal basis. I truly can’t taste the green tea, and I can’t taste any lemon or licorice. But, I’ve been steeping it for about an hour and a half now (which might be my problem), and it still isn’t bitter, which I’ve never seen in a green tea. It’s not my favourite and I wouldn’t drink it everyday, but it’s definitely a great go-to when you’re not feeling your best.

I am a student on a mission to spend all of my hard earned cash on tea, and don’t have time to waste on a bad cup of tea!
I love DavidsTea, mostly because it is easily accessible for me and I like my tea on the sweeter side. I’m looking to expand further into the tea world, especially in terms of oolong and herbal teas.
My favourite teas are anything spicy, especially with cloves and/or cinnamon, anything nutty, minty, earthy, floral or citrus-y.
I am forever on a mission for a life altering grapefruit tea.
