This tea blew me away. Affordable too. (Around $40) One of the better CNNP cakes no doubt. Its been dry stored beautifully. Ive tried other green mark cakes from the same year, and this one tasted way better then the ones selling for $100.

Pretty bug bitten wrapper. Theres a spot on this cake where the bug bit through the wrapper, through the paper inside it, and through the neifei!

This tea is putting out dark orange liquor, I was expecting red, but a man can dream though. A man can dream.

Love this stuff. Just hits me with all the right flavors. And for its age its very drinkable.

Not really digging this one. Maybe lower temps and less leaf and another decade would help

Not too crazy about this one. Their 2014 dehong is way smoother than this

Flavors: Bitter

This is a drain cleaner tea, I agree.

For tea that doesn’t steep out very well, it steeps out very well. Very solid shou. I mostly drink sheng, so my palate isnt very discriminating for these. Certainly nice to have around, nice ammont too, 100gs is pleanty for my shou habbits, if this was sheng, it would be gone in a week.

i used to drink tons of 7562 ripe before i tried a decent sheng. This is very similar to 7562 and V93 from menghai IMO. Probably not quite as good, but if you’re like me, and dont drink a ton of this stuff, itll be hard to tell the difference

I’d reccomend this tea to anyone who likes shou but doesnt want to spend a lot of money

I loved this tea. I reccomend using 150 degree f water for the frst 5 steeps just to really enjoythis teas floral sweeter qualities. Its hard to oversteep this tea.

This one is nicely textured and very cheap. The buds remind me of feathers!

The dry leaf has a dried pineapple aroma that follows through to the taste, and evolves into a peppery woody fruitiness

One of the most peculiar teas I’ve ever had. If a tea makes you stop what your doing and think about it, its a good tea. This tea made me stop everything and tune in to what the heck this taste/smell was

Flavors: Dried Fruit, Peppercorn, Pineapple, Wet Wood

I’m a sheng puer lover, but I’m still kind of a n00b, so bare with me while I learn.
