This does taste different from Assam melody. It has a stronger tanning taste with a grainy flavor; good grainy though. I think I like Assam Melody more though: its sweeter, maltier flavor, and is less tannic. HOWEVER, this tea did hold up excellent with milk and sweetener; I increased the leaf from 3g to 4g. It isn’t as intense as a CTC assam for milk tea, but still held it’s flavor. Overall it would be good from someone who prefers more tannic assam and likes to add milk and sugar.

Flavors: Grain, Malt, Tannic

I have been drinking and makeing tea for me and my mom for most of my life and have been starting to get into loose teas.

I like fruity, spicy, strong teas, Chai’s, Black, and Rooibos. I have recently been trying and getting into Oolongs…

It’s ok, but not great. Might need added ingredients or tweaking, and is below average.
