34 Tasting Notes
I’ve read that this tea is called a tisane. That was my first time hearing that word, but I like it! It’s really hard to describe this flavor. Besides that, the smell up against the bright pink color really throws you off. I almost didn’t know what to expect.
It’s a yummy flavor. If you like nuts, then you’ll like this. Personally, I can’t really distinctly taste the apples or the cinnamon. It’s there, but in a very settle way. I was really hoping for a sweet cinnamon and sugar coated almond flavor, but that’s not it. It’s good with a small amount of sugar. I was able to re-steep this tea 3 times.
Because it’s caffeine free, it’s perfect for an afternoon or evening treat.
I had this last night for the first time. I was expecting a lot more. The chocolate flavor was weak at best and the orange was very settle. I wish the flavors had been more pronounced. Overall, it was “good” and I’ll drink it again, but I may not buy it again. I see that some people try it with milk, so I may try that next time to see if it makes a difference. I may steep it longer as well.
Preparation
It’s good, but could be a lot better. I think maybe the ginger is a tad too strong. I’d like the cardamon and the coffee to be more pronounced. I won’t waste it, but I won’t be buying any more either.
I have a huge bag of this stuff, so if anyone wants to swap, let me know!
Preparation
It’s alright. The first few times I drank it, I enjoyed it. But I got tired of it quickly. There seems to be that the “spice” overpowered both the chocolate and strawberry. I was really hoping for a balance. I wonder if it would be better to add a splash of cream or something. I don’t know. I ended up having to throw it out after it sat on my shelf for 4 years.
