For me, the aroma and taste of this tea brings pure comfort. I am sure this is largely due to the fact that (it’s a lovely tea, and) I ordered this tea from Starbucks regularly when I started dating my sweetheart. It wasn’t uncommon for us to meet up, grab a cup of Refresh and head out on our date. He isn’t a tea drinker at all, but he enjoys this blend.

I do enjoy Peppermint, but I have always been more partial to Spearmint, so I really enjoy it. I love it “hot and clear” or with a touch of honey.

I am an easy going woman, but a total tea snob and it is rare that I will even bother with bagged tea, but Harney & Sons has caught my attention (NTS: Next time I’m in the States, visit a storefront).
This tea was available in our cupboard at work (the ladies often make an afternoon cup of tea, which I love), I opened it up for a smell, and was intrigued enough to try it.
Although I am unaware of the ingredients, I get berry and vanilla on the palate. It is naturally sweet and I appreciate that the black tea leaves are still prominent above the blend of flavours.
As odd is this may sound, the aroma reminds me of the same aroma you get from Fruit Loops. I enjoy the sweet, fruity taste and aroma.

A light and lovely tea, but not very much Oolong involved. I found it didn’t really matter how long you steep it because there are so many ingredients blended in, that there isn’t much room for tea leaves.

That being said, I enjoyed it and the flavour is everything you expect it to be. A light strawberry tea with some floral notes (without being too flowery). A fruit based blend that isn’t tart.

AMAZING. Virtually a glorified kettle, but I can’t imagine life without it. I live out in the country, and have to be up VERY early for work (with a long commute) and I set my Zojirushi before I go to bed. I wake up to water that is already at the perfect temperature, steep my tea (or cook my hot oats) and head out the door.
It sings a little song to let you know the water has reached the correct temperature, which I find endearing.
I have also used it at parties so people could make hot chocolate on demand.
FYI: The sides are magnetic, so mine now has tea-themed magnets all over it!

I’ve had it about 1.5 years now. I’ve never had any problems, but I live in the country and my water is VERY hard on it, so I buy jugs of spring water. The company sells a citrus cleaning thing (the machine collect minerals over the year, but you can just wipe it clean), however I used Lemon juice and boiled it and let it sit, and wiped it clean!

Although I have yet to meet a cup of tea I haven’t liked, it must be said that flowery teas are never my first choice, Jasmine included. Then, my co-worker suggested a great way to prepare it (after that, Jasmine really grew on me):

Jasmine Lemonade

Steep the tea in 4-6oz of water. Add 1/2 teaspoon (or to-taste) of lemon concentrate (I use “Real Lemon”). Add approximately 1 teaspoon of sugar (to counteract the lemon juice). Pour all of this over one cup of ice and stir/shake away – I use a martini shaker. Enjoy!
A VERY refreshing and guilt free Summer drink.

Nostalgia in a cup. This was the first cup of loose leaf I ever tried, and I must say, it was the perfect first… I loved to drink this gorgeous blend both hot or iced. It is light and fruity (not too bold, but not too mild). There was something so calming about this tea. I still have a smidgen in my cupboard, that I am rationing, and plan to save the last bit so that I can open it up and smell it when I am reminiscing. My forever favourite.

I find this Matcha to be higher quality than many others I have come by. I have prepared it many different ways (including traditional), but one that I particularly enjoy has been with Apple Juice.

Recipe: I prepare the Matcha in a separate bowl (one that was hand crafted/designed for Matcha) with 1/4 of water and use the bamboo whisk. Then I add it to my cup of Apple Juice. If you use hot water, after you whisk it, throw it all over ice and shake away. Enjoy!

I discovered the beauty of loose-leaf tea 6 years ago and I’ll never look back. Have yet to meet I cup of (loose-leaf) tea that I didn’t like.

My profile picture is a cup of Matcha in my hand-painted mug I made at a pottery place that says “Tea warms my heart.”

I work with children, American Sign Language is almost my second language, I love Jesus. My better-half & I volunteer with the homeless, and I spend my free time relaxing at home and enjoying the “little things.” Life is good.
