It is a tragedy that you can no longer get such a lovely tea.
The light chocolate flavour pairs so well with the spices including cardamon, anise, vanilla, and a bit of clove. Neither the spices, nor the chocolate, nor even the black tea base is overpowering. They blend together to form one concise, delicious, and memorable cup of tea.

In my humble opinion, this is one of those teas that really makes drinking tea an experience. I relish each sip of this tea. I am very grateful for the small amount I have left. I will be heartbroken when it is gone.

When I decide to indulge in this delightful tea I usually do 3 steeps. The first steep for about 4.5 minutes, the second for about 6.5, and the third for almost 10 minutes. The flavour holds up nicely through all 3. A tea blessing. :)

This is my first cup of “tea” every single morning. I adore it. It is usually followed with a black tea of some sort, but this is always first. It is a slightly sweet and natural green/herbal flavor. I wish I could explain more efficiently how calming and delicious it is. It has a good deal of caffeine to extract me from my sleep-like morning fugue, all the while being quite tasty with a spot of honey.
The Runa company seems to be very commendable too in the growing and commerical practices of their guayusa in that it is organically grown, fair-trade, and non-gmo.

I’ve been steeping this for a second time the past few days. During this second steep I’ve been adding a bit of dried cocount to the leaf with some pleasing results. The coconut flavour doesn’t quite shine though but you do get a nice mouth feel from the coconut oil that blooms. I find I am enjoying it.

I tend to drink this tea when I am feeling sore. Turmeric is an anti-inflammatory and I’d much prefer to have a nice cup of tea over taking a pill any day! :)
Any-who, I was worried initially that this tea may have a bit of a bite to it, but really I quite like it. The ginger partners with the turmeric and it seems they slightly mellow each other out. Perhaps it’s the green base that does the mellowing. I’m not sure but you do end up with a quite lovely, warming cup. The flavours definitely appear to compliment each other. I absolutely love ginger though, so I would not mind if it were a bit more intense. As for the healing effect, I’m not sure whether it is the placebo effect, or just the happiness that a warm cup of tea brings, but I certainly feel better after I’ve had some. :0)
This is a tea bag though, so if I could locate a loose leaf version of this tea I’d be very interested in comparing it with these tiny sachets. 0_o

Not a bad start to the workday. Very comforting. Steeped for what seems to be the perfect time so it is without any bitterness I can detect. Not the most flavourful cuppa. It does have a light, almost slightly sweet flavour to it, backed up by a malty Assam body.
It’ll do. >^..^<

Sometimes it is quite enjoyable to partake in a simple, unflavoured, grassy cup of this organic tea. Not the highest quality, but with a light touch of honey it works out quite well.
Particularly nice for those moments at work when you are much too busy to try and measure out your loose leaf. :)

Reasonably pleasant tea. I am enamored with the combo of lemongrass, lemon verbena, and spearmint, but this tea has shown me that it has to be the correct ratio of the 3 flavours with the green tea to really please my palate. It was overall a nice green tea, the flavour was just dominantly spearmint. I’d much prefer a more balanced combination of flavours.

I will finish the little tin of this loose leaf when I am in the mood for a minty tea. I don’t believe I will purchase any more when it is empty though.

Retrogamer, tea enthusiast, and all around geeky gal. Let’s have a spot, shall we?

I enjoy most black, green, white, oolong (not too mineral-y), rooibos (green too), and various herbal teas. Oh, & I love guayusa. :}

My most searched for flavours include coconut, maple, melon, lychee, pumpkin, and ANYTHING reminiscent of cake. but I am open to try just about anything. I am not too fond of exceptionally fake tasting peach, grape, or lemon flavours, or Earl Grey teas either.

I have no allergies or food sensitivities.
