1 Tasting Note

A good loose-leaf green tea, softened by vanilla – quite biscuity and soft, smelling and tasting strongly of marzipan. I really like this as a late morning or mid afternoon tea – it would taste great with a delicate lemon shortbread. I wouldn’t drink it in great quantity, but nice for a relaxing moment.

Just a shame I only got a taster amount of it from Tea Shop in Madrid – I can’t exactly pop back for more!

Bio

Longtime tea drinker, progressed through PG Tips to Earl Grey to green and white tea over the last few years, and jasmine green or white is now my tea of choice – but I’ll never completely give up builder’s tea.

I love the ceremony and paraphernalia of tea, the subtlety of the flavours and the gentle caffeine lift. I’m not a big fan of fruit or herbal infusions, except for peppermint. I love a good cup of chai – milky, sweet and spiced – every now and then; it’s even better than hot chocolate.
