Pretty good. Very very strong, but it does have a tonne of bergamot oil in it. Nice with cream. It’ll make an excellent Earl Grey chocolate cake…

Preparation
2 tsp 16 OZ / 473 ML
VariaTEA

Ofc you’d come up with something tasty like a EG chocolate cake :P

Oh, this is good! The orange flavour reminds me strongly of another orange leafy-herbal tea I used to have.

It’s very much orange-sage-ginger. I added a tiny bit of honey to take it towards sweet and away from savoury.

Right up my alley.

Roswell’s description is true for the flavour notes, too. Earthy. Orange. A bit of spice. Yum.

(Also, i FINALLY got it today! I ordered right at the end of November, and had an argument with customs (tea is not taxed in Canada…). I’m super excited to drink the rest of what I got.)

Preparation
200 °F / 93 °C 4 min, 0 sec 2 tsp 12 OZ / 354 ML

I want to try it too! Thanks!

I was so excited to see this tea! There’s an Earl Grey Grapefruit that I had and loved, but I can’t remember if I’ve been too lazy to go get more, or if the company doesn’t carry it anymore.

Anyways, I got this one. So delicious.

I do occasionally love me an Earl Grey, and the addition of grapefruit is perfection.

This is pretty tasty! I’m having it with milk (as always) and it’s creamy and lemony. Not quite candy, but definitely not lemon cleaner.

I’m really glad I stopped in and picked this up when I was stuck in Toronto.

Huge thanks to Sil (and partner and dog) for picking me up and letting me stay!

Sil

glad you got a couple you’re enjoying

OMGsrsly

I think I’ve now bought 4 teas this year… :D

An oldie from Sil, I think.

I really like it. Nice and sweet and fruity, and I do like the bergamot as an addition.

Sadly, the primary ingredient is apples, and so I will probably be regretting this cup of tea in a couple hours. Darn apples are everywhere.

Tea pop!!

Although if I thought I was going to make a tea pop tonight I would have got the sparkling water and not the club soda.

4 tsp or so for 16 oz final volume.

With maple whipped cream, because I made some yesterday for my coffee and why not.

They’re going more construction on the building again today – it’s a holiday. Spraying noxious chemicals outside my kitchen door, and drilling into the supports under my living room floor. I have a very tiny apartment, so there is no where else to go.

Fun times.

At least I have tea. And I think I shall make some of these. https://www.budgetbytes.com/2017/02/homemade-chocolate-crescent-rolls/

Fjellrev

Oh geez, lucky you. :/

OMGsrsly

At this point, the place is a joke. :/ Spent the day online looking for apartments, but everything is so expensive.

Fjellrev

Aww I hear you, rent went up so freakishly much here, it’s nearly impossible to live comfortably solo unless you have a very well-paying job, which is next to impossible to get right now. Sigh.

OMGsrsly

My new/current job (same pay rate really!) pays so much better than the ones in my field, too. Ugh, academia.

Fjellrev

Tsk tsk, such a joke.

I made a large pot of this last night and drank it all with milk and a little sugar.

Mmm…

Meh. Clovey. A little soapy. Not terrible, but I prefer the classic (and cheap) Russian Caravan for a smoky tea.

Au revoir, tea! We had a good run.

Possibly too long, but shh. We won’t speak of that.

Still a delicious tea I’m super happy to have had. Would get again.
