It’s not that this tea is bad as much as it’s just simply mediocre. It’s peppermint and english toffee but you can’t really sense either at first taste, and I personally cannot taste the english toffee at all, and the peppermint is very, very subtle. Dilmah’s other “Exceptional” collection teas vastly surpass this one – Rose with French Vanilla and Maharajah Reserve Assam in particular come to mind. Can’t fault it being uninteresting though, as the blend is tasty and pleasant.

It tastes like an overly sweet, very slow death. God-awful, a single sip is enough to bin the box and look for something – anything – to take that taste off one’s tongue.

A truly remarkable blend, by a truly unremarkable company. New English teas are not my favourites – the bergamot is too pronounced in the Earl Grey, the green tea is preposterously bitter and the hibiscus is just rubbish – but this is one is something to rave about. The tea is a kick, as any black, but it doesn’t feel like one. It’s so pleasant and delightful, the 25-bag box I bought shouldn’t last a week.

Not the most impressive chai out there, but definitely delicious. Tad better than Twinings’ Indian Chai, not as good as Horniman’s Chai Té. Infinitely improved by a dash of cinnamon and a splash of boiled milk.

Meh. It’s boring, it’s bland, it’s everyday. It’s fine, doesn’t really stand out or anything, but when it comes down to it, it’s rather boring and quite bitter. I have a box and I won’t bin it, but I will also not buy this tea again.

Lovely tea. It’s quite strong, and if not sweetened properly, might be a bit bitter. However, if sweetened with some honey and brown sugar, is a brilliant tasting tea.

I honestly don’t understand why so many people like this tea. It has this awfully sweet, almost syrup-y taste, and – much like Celestial Seasonings’ other fruit-flavoured teas – it doesn’t suit those without a sweet tooth.

I’m a Yorkshire girl living far, far away from home. I love tea – black is my favourite – and good documentaries.
