Having this as I type. I actually sat in Zen Tea (Shamble, Ga) today and had this and fell in love with it. Bought a couple ounces and am drinking it at home. Im new to pu’ehr and this is phenomenal to me. Caramel and butterscotch flavors come through really well! Very nice mouth feel with a buttery butterscotch finish! The smell is outrageous! I will forever have this in my stash!

Im new to the tea world and this is my first review. I know this is Teavana, but I was there and wanted to try this. I tried a small ounce of this tea in another Teavana store last week and thought I was going to puke. It was about as nasty as I could ever have. Im not sure if the air that made it, made to wrong…or burned t…or what, but it was nasty. Tonight I was in the store near my house and asked the girl there about it ad told her my experience. She seemed surprised and said apparently the person who made my sample had no clue, and she proceeded to make it, showing me exactly what she was doing during the process.

Now, I have watched several videos on Matcha and how to make it and have a pretty good idea of whats going on in the process. She didn’t miss a step, and it even looked much different from my first sample. It smelled different. I tipped the little plastic cup up and drew the liquor into my mouth and instantly knew this was done right. The taste was SO much better than that first batch of whatever Hemlock the first girl tried to poison me with.

At first I let the creamy, frothy liquid settle over all of my taste buds and then swallowed after tasting the grassy, green, butter flavors. Hints of green bean and woods, and a little sweetness from the grassy taste. Not bitter. Not a wet hay taste. Just green goodness.

I probably shouldn’t have, but I bought a 40 gram tin of the stuff and a whisk. Im hooked!

Hey, at least it’s a healthy habit, right? My husband does’t have the tea bug, but he does enjoy trying new teas with me.
