It is a sweet tasting tea which everyone says it is nothing but hibiscus. The tea didn’t remind me of anything, and that allows one’s mind to wander while enjoying it. Therefore in keeping with the tart notes that everyone is talking about with this tea:

The books recommended for this tea are Burned, The Crank Series, by Ellen Hopkins, At Risk by Alice Hoffman.

Preparation
200 °F / 93 °C 5 min, 0 sec 1 tsp 8 OZ / 236 ML

This is one of my favorite black teas so far.

This tea did not prove to be a distraction and is the perfect companion for a cozy reading day, whether it is warm or cold outside.

Books recommended for this tea:

The Hours by Michael Cunningham, After the Quake by Haruki Murakami, Fool by Christopher Moore.

Preparation
200 °F / 93 °C 5 min, 15 sec 1 tsp 8 OZ / 236 ML

I would recommend drinking this as a latte only. As a tea, it is not to my tasting as I keep wanting milk to go with it. A soy latte is what I prefer to drink it as.

The best part of this tea is that it reminds me of the Harry Potter books. My first impression of it was Harry Potter’s Hedwig, and her snowy wings, with Potter dressed warmly in his robes and scarf. This tea, especially as a latte inspires me to read a wonderful series full of adventures to cozy up to.

Books recommended for this tea: The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis.

Preparation
200 °F / 93 °C 4 min, 15 sec 1 tsp 8 OZ / 236 ML

Very ginger and licorice heavy and spicy. A tea to wake you up. Not for everyone’s taste.

I am not a coffee drinker. At least not what coffee is to most people. Give me the sugary concoctions of chocolate cinammon milk frappe latte whatever. I’ve never tried Coffee Pur’eh or any ‘coffee’ teas. But the perfect match was on sale and I can’t resist enjoying a luxury at a bargain price.

Tiramisu tea brings delight to the palette as I did not taste the bitterness associated with coffee and I found it perfect to be a booster tea to get the cogs turning.

Books recommended for this tea are books that keep your mind churning:

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown, Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card, Boneshaker by Cherie Priest, any good puzzles should be consider a good accompaniment to this tea.

Flavors: Coffee

Preparation
200 °F / 93 °C 5 min, 30 sec 2 tsp 20 OZ / 591 ML

Definitely a tasting tea before it ends up in your tea spot of regulars.

I wish I had tasted this one in the store before I brought it home.No sense in wasting the tea leaves now. This tea can become a quick bitterness if one is not careful with steeping time Not my cup of tea, but like books, there are teas for everyone. If you are a green tea connoisseur, I encourage a tasting.

Flavors: Bitter, Jasmine

Love at first taste. A refreshing tea that is an even more delightful iced tea. When I need a quick taste of something when I am hot from working, it will be this tea. That’s just how cool it is as an iced beverage. Forget soda, forget energy drinks, for everything you know except this tea.

Curious tidbit, every first sip I take of this tea reminds me of the color purple.

Books recommended to go with this tea: Summer Sisters by Judy Blume, Usurper of the Sun (Novel) by Housuke Nojiri, Who Can You Trust? (Rockett’s World) by Lauren Day (YA lit book)

Flavors: Flowers
