39 Tasting Notes

I like this for a green tea. It’s very berry, but not in the berry/rose hips/hibiscus kind of way. Best drunk very hot though. I don’t think I would add it to my regular rotation.

This is just okay. It has a strong hit of rooibos and then is sweet in a weird kind of way. I wouldn’t really want to drink it again.

I’m so surprised by this tea. The scent of it reminds me overwhelmingly of an 80’s scratch-n-sniff sticker. It’s not tart, and it definitely has some artificial flavors going on, but it’s rather harmonious. It doesn’t have any acrid/dry herbaceous taste that I would associate with some herbal teas. This, surprisingly, would be a contender for my regular rotation of decaf teas.

A nice, desserty decaf tea. Best drunk very hot; as it cools, the artificial taste becomes more pronounced. I wouldn’t buy this regularly, but I’d be happy to see it as a sample again.

Eh, it’s okay for a straight rooibos. It has that earthy, dry smell and feel in the throat. Umremarkable. I’d drink it again, but wouldn’t buy it.

It’s okay. It was surprisingly sweet. The fruit profile was a welcome change to the hibiscus/rose hip type or apple/orange/lemon tea you often get with fruity teas. It’s not a go-to green tea, but I would drink it again.

I was surprised that the caffeine didn’t affect me more, since I am pretty sensitive to it. This was a bit artificial and I didn’t enjoy the sweetener (stevia). I would drink it again if I got it as a sample, but would definitely not have it on hand as a everyday tea.

Good for a supermarket chai tea. Needs a lot of milk. I did find myself coming back to it to finish it. I don’t drink chai often enough to make it an ‘everday’ cup.

One of the better white teas I’ve had. I’d drink it again, but wouldn’t keep it on hand, simply because I prefer black teas.
