Bright, sharp lemon flavor with the ginger right behind it, this gets the job done without the strong pepper taste found in other lemon gingers. An occasional tisane for me, to cleanse palate between other choices.

Pepper….it’s there.
ginger….yes.
lemon…definitely.

This is a strong, sharp tisane with an astringent quality. You have to know what you are getting into to enjoy

Bio

I used to be a coffee girl.

Despite having lived in Japan for four years as a teenager, my personal gateway into tea came from watching a British TV show called “Supersize vs. Superskinny” when I was in my mid-thirties.

Each episode of the show pairs up an overweight person with an underweight person, and they must swap diets for a period of time.

I was trying to lose weight at the time, and I noticed that the thin people seemed to always mention tea. Not just having a cup in the morning, they seemed to be constantly drinking it throughout the day. And these were the people who were superthin.

I wanted in.

Fast forward a few years, and here I am with a Steepster account.

I guess I’m a tea girl now.
