A smooth and sweet malty black tea with citrus orange notes.

From Colombia’s only tea garden, located at high elevation in the Bitaco township on the western slope of the Andean mountain range.

The producer Agricola Himalaya are firm believers in social responsibility and have left half of their farmland as forest in addition to numerous investments and programs to aid the community.

Tasting Notes:

Origin: Bitaco, La Cumbre, Valle del Cauca, Colombia
Organic: Certified organic by EcoCert S.A.
Altitude: 1,800-2,050m

Variety: Blend of assamica, sinensis and cambodian

Brewing Advice:
- Heat water to roughly 95°C/203°F
- Use 2 teaspoons per cup/small teapot
- Brew for 3-4 minutes

YUM! This tea tastes so much of sweet potato (which I noticed especially on the second and third steepings) that I’m wondering if I should sweeten it with brown sugar and marshmallows, lol. It goes excellently with milk and sugar, in any case. :)

(So . . . apparently I like sweet potato notes in my tea? That seems to be the gist of this.)
