Beautiful! The Yunnan grown Bai Mu Dan that is utilized in this base is simply gorgeous! This beautiful tea together with delicious freeze-dried strawberries – is a match made in a tea drinker’s paradise!

One of my favorite desserts of all time is probably my gramma’s angel food cake. When I was really young, she would frost it with an amazing chocolate whipped cream frosting – but at some point, she switched out that frosting for strawberries. She would spoon some fresh sliced strawberries mixed with just a wee bit of sugar to encourage them to release their juices right on top of a piece of soft, fluffy angel food cake. The cake would absorb those juices & you’d be hard pressed to find a more delicious bite anywhere in the world.

This tea was crafted to replicate that delicious bite: strawberries – sweet & tart, along with a sweet, light & fluffy cake-like flavor. YUM! But this might be even better – because . . . tea! It’s vegan, gluten-free, allergen-friendly and all natural, too!

AJRimmer Advent Day 7

Mmm, this is such a nice white tea base! It smells like fresh-cut hay…and I mean that as a compliment. ;) The flavoring is quite light. I don’t get much strawberry at all, but there is definitely a hint of that angel food cake coming through that compliments the base tea really well. While I wouldn’t mind a bit more flavor, I am quite enjoying this one!

I don’t usually like white tea, but this one surprised me! It was delightfully cakey! I could catch a little hint of white tea, but mostly cake! I drink it cold, but I’m sure it would be great warm and maybe even with some milk.

July Sipdown Prompt – a tea you regret not buying more of

When I first saw this prompt, I didn’t think there was anything that qualified. I usually order more than I should of each tea and most can be had easily anyway. But this one is now sold out! And I don’t know if it will come back.

I opened the pouch for the first time today and the aroma was transporting. Light fluffy cake with lots of strawberry and hallelujah not even a trace of butyric acid assaulted my senses.

The flavor was as good as the aroma promised with strawberry first and then angel food cake, and the more it cooled, the more the cake came out.

I can hardly wait for Ashman to try it this weekend. He will love it.

I agree – this one is amazing (if I do say so myself!)
