What would you do if there was no more tea?

Build a time machine, go back to when there was tea. Get lost in space somewhere, with all the tea.

Sure, I could use some company.

aaand then it turns out that this is exactly why all the tea disappeared in the first place… =]

This made me laugh so much xD

It would be a sad sad day in my home if we didn’t have any tea. I’d probably restart my herb garden and go the herbal route like I’ve done in the past.

Drink only Diet Mtn Dew. Like a cockroach I would adjust and survive. Of course a cockroach on only Diet Mtn Dew would probably develop evil superpowers, so… Yeah Tea!

The world would really be an awful place without tea :)

Really? As far as horrible things that could hypothetically happen, “tea disappearing” is pretty far down on my list. I’d be a lot more upset if cacao production fell enough for chocolate to be prohibitively expensive, which is much more likely to happen.

You have a point there, but we think it’s equally bad :)

I would cry. But, I’d move on. I drink water anyway with the occasional cup of hot chocolate.

I would panic! The whole reason I started Culinary Teas was because my favorite tea vendor at the time Tea.com closed down and I paniced because I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to get my favorite teas anymore.

I’ve already started soaking various things in hot water to see what happens. It’s like an automatic reaction now to look at stuff like dried fruit, or herbs, and reach for my kettle.

Normal people would just eat it, I guess.

I’ve wanted to put dried cranberries in hot water. For science!

First I would have a pounding headache. Then I would take action. There are so many different herbs and bushes that can be used with hot water. After a while I would find the best tasting (with caffeine)grow it and invite friends to an elevensees to try… Tea will survive.

I would cry.

Mourn the loss (while my bank account rejoiced) and then come on Steepster and read through all the reviews….and mourn some more. Lol!

….Though this topic now makes me really want to try growing tea plants myself for some reason.
